And, as a "ferinstance" on the "don't know WTF they're doing" assertion: they really don't understand #Git. If you:
1. Pull down a git project
2. Edit a file such that you comment out bits (usually parameters and/or their values) and replace them with other (usually hard-coded) bits
3. Then re-upload the file to your git-server, complete with commented out contents and non-portable hard-codes
You don't know WTF you're doing.

The #SpaceShuttle program got aborted because they couldn't get new old stock of radiation hardened chips, and to this day you have stuff like #ISA cards and #i486 systems in many #CriticalInfrastructure because noone can or wants to reimplement systems.
And believe it or not, #git may be part of the toolchain for something that runs #VxWorks and goes into space: Stuff like the #MarsHelicopter being cobbled together from modern #Smartphone parts is more of an accident than actual planning, because it was a severly constrained effort.
As for #Rust, I rarely see benefits outweight the costs…
Yes, I too have git ssh keys for company and personal and by providers like bitbucket, gitlabt etc ... I also have an alias command to load the corresponding keys depending on the project im working on .. or sometimes I just load the key directly in the VsCode devcontainer
