Related to this, I find it remarkable that #Git can do a “blame” following file renames and content edits all the way to the first commit in a 20+ year old repository that has been converted from CVS and has almost half a million commits. In a recent-ish desktop computer with a fast SSD it took under a minute!

At work we had GitLab. For a pull request there can many different source code places to discuss and each has its own conversation. GitLab lets you fold/close all of them to see them into a list and open only the one you want to concentrate on.
Now I participate in a GitHub code review. Ooooompf. No folding. No better than one of those epic email or usenet threads with inline comments. Pity.😩 🤦♀️ (Am I missing something?)
