I made a cool analogy today:
Git branches are like parallel timelines in a sci-fi movie. The main branch is the sacred, final reality. You clone it to a new timeline (your feature branch) to experiment. If the experiment works, you merge it back into the main reality. If not, you delete the timeline.
Does it sound promising?

Сейчас посмотрел и ахнул… директория #pijul весит 6.44 гигабайт! КАК? 
Может я по ошибке что-то записал, но в проекте нет огромных файлов, поэтому буду смотреть, где я мог накосячить. У меня будет очень много вопросов к Pijul в случае, если я не смогу ничего обнаружить.
Возможно, вернусь к #git.

It's an #Android app, officially available on #Fdroid, that gives you the ability to use terminal programs on your phone.
There are a lot of use cases for Termux: you can connect over #SSH to your server or do programming with #neovim and #emacs.
If you have a cutting-edge smartphone, you can run LLMs locally with #Ollama!
But I use Termux mostly for #Git: I can practice it everywhere, and make necessary changes to my essential repostories when needed.

If you use #vim or #neovim as your #git commit editor, you can automatically put it in insert mode by setting `core.editor` or the `GIT_CONFIG` environment variable to `vim +startinsert!`.

Trying out #Jujutsu VCS today and definitely feel like it has a better design than #Git. I can definitely appreciate the idea of modeling the working copy as its own commit and I really like operating on commits directly rather than branches.
