We previously allowed all hashtags to trend on this instance at it's inception, but in August 2025 we changed that policy to require a review on all hashtags after we discovered that the n word hashtag was searchable on this instance. We disabled the use of the n word hashtag and suspended the instance (cum.estate) that was using it.
If you have hashtags allowed to trend by default, please consider going through them to look for slurs. Look for things like the n word, homophobic slurs, transphobic slurs, antisemitic slurs, etc.
Heads up: Bad actors also often use the fedicum, fedipenis, fedicock, and mastobating hashtags if you want to find additional users and instances that need to be pruned.

We've had parcero.casa blocked for a very long time on this instance, but for the sake of completeness in why, while also educating new users of the fediverse, we'll give some evidence.
We've blocked them due to the transmisia (transphobia), homomisia (homophobia), and racism, as well as the company they keep (other nazi instances we've previously posted about). Below are some screenshots from parcero.casa originally posted in another thread, but without CW.
This instance has also posted genital gore gifs at trans people on this instance and others, but we won't post those due their extremely graphic nature.

They all host (or are owned and run by) dav1d, who is a well known racist and nazi on the fediverse that frequently harasses our queer, disabled, and Black communities here.
Note 1: The current most used subdomain of ra1n.digital is pleroma.ra1n.digital however, dav1d is tech savvy enough to setup new ones (and new domains entirely) so it's best to block at the root FQDN as soon as his own personas pop up.
Note 2: The current most used subdomain of 1337.cx is tenderqueersafespace.1337.cx but you can expect more in the future.
Note 3: The current most used subdomain of dav1d.lol is pl.dav1d.lol. He stays relatively put there, but we still recommend blocking dav1d.lol.
Note 4: seafoam.space lists dav1d as a major sponsor, but may also just be dav1d talking to himself.
