I hope you realise what is going on here:
This person has posted photos of two different people, Aseel Taya and Aseel Alturk and is alleging that Aseel Alturk – who is part of our team at Gaza Verified – is a scammer.
This is not an honest mistake. You can also see the “Linux is Best” account – which repeatedly spreads similar conspiracy theories chiming in later in thread also.
This is a tasteless attempt to spread FUD about Gaza Verified and to defame a young woman who is enduring genocide and famine at the hands of Israel.
I hope you will take the appropriate action against this account.

I have reported the account to staff because I think it is fake (AI generated content).
They responded that they won't manually check every account as mastodon.social is a large instance.
But then I don't think #GazaVerified should be advertized as a 100% legit verification system for mutual aid.

Defederate mastodon dot cloud if you can, or domain block them if you can't.
They, in effect, block Tor but without saying it outright. Whenever I try to visit the site via the Tor browser, it automatically redirects to a page showing a message that says "We currently do not provide services in your area." which can be found here: https://media.mastodon.cloud/cloud-093img.html
Decidedly not respecting Tor is at odds with everything that makes the Fediverse so much better than the other platforms we all left for it. I expose this instance to the normal Internet via Cloudflare Tunnel and I have their "Onion routing" feature enabled. If you look at the normal site either using the Tor browser or in a Tor window in the Brave browser, you'll see the Onion offered in the URL bar.
Included are two screenshots from when I tried to access their site via Tor, from my phone and my computer respectively. Not that there's any reason why there would be, at this point, but you'll notice that no Onion is being offered in the URL bar in either screenshot, and so that is, unsurprisingly, also not an option.
There is absolutely no excuse for an instance actively preventing Tor users from accessing their site. It should probably go without saying, but you are always more than welcome to visit my site via Tor.
