Es tauchen diverse Bettelversuche auf, die alle auf einen paypal-Account mit dem Namen Habuba verweisen. Da die verschiedenen Anfragen nicht konsistent sind, zB mal aus Palestina, ein anderes mal aus USA usw vorgeben, muss man das als versuchten Betrug einstufen. Bitte alle Accounts melden!

There was a recent real-life fedi incident of this nature.
A mutual of mine posted an article about a UK TERF's employment tribunal case.
A stealth TERF rolled up in the replies and did some some concerted transphobic sealioning framed as 'genuine concerns' .
This was called out and duly reported by many.
Three LGBTQIA+ adjacent instances * immediately * suspended the TERF account.
However, the TERF's own instance just removed the posts and that account is still active on that instance.
I messaged the admin of said instance to asky why the account hadn't been suspended.
No reply was ever forthcoming. 🙄
I'm now keeping tabs on posts from that instance for more of this shite.
If there is a repeat of transphobia from this instance, I will call for a #Fediblock against it.
