We must recommend a fediblock for the mstdn.ca instance, reluctantly.
We pinged the admin to request that they ask their users to use content warnings as for our instance, they were among the worst offenders in our public feed for non-cwed content.
After a short exchange, the admin asked that we use their "reporting function" to report accounts that aren't CWed. At this point, the interaction ended.
Per their instructions we did so, at which point they suspended our instance.
The admin of the mstdn.ca instance insisted that our users could not be seeing much traffic as they saw "only 4" accounts active.
This was a misread of the masto stats.
In our fed stats, we showed 1,076 stored accounts and 72,863 posts from mstdn.ca. That is a fair bit more than 4. Additionally, a cursory inspection of Diotima"s recent mute list showed a fair few accounts from mstdn.ca with un-cwed politics.
We expect, like most of you, that the admins of the fedi act with respect. We do not feel that asking a fellow admin to remind their users of their own rules is unreasonable.

We're going ahead and adding `miniwa.moe` to our list of suspended servers across #MastodonAppUK #Universeodon and #MedMastodon as there appears to be no active moderation taking place and reports of transphobic behaviour have been ignored by their moderators.
I'm not expecting this to impact the vast majority of folks across our instances but you might see a follower / following drop by 1 or 2.
