Ok, more #Fediblock work done this afternoon, taking me up to over 60 instances that I have fully defederated from and completely blocked.
And I'm sure I don't have to tell you for why either.
Thankfully no-one I'm federated to was lost as a result, which means you (yes you!) get a shiny gold star for being a thoroughly decent human being ✨⭐✨ 😉
Seriously though, it's distasteful work, and easily the worst part about being an admin without doubt. Even just the bloody url names of some of them... *shudders*
Hitting that block button feels damn good though 👍
I'll get around to looking at blocks on more instances at the weekend, for stuff like open racism, hate-speech, nazi ideology et al, but that's a whack of the most egregious servers dealt with for now (hopefully).
I want the ownership of this instance to be a good experience, but realise that certain work has to be undertaken to maintain that overall enjoyment.
It's a price worth paying though, because having this *vague gestures*, a place of my own in the #Fediverse, is really bloody satisfying.

Nanook is the instance owner of friendica[.].eskimo[.].com, and there are only 2 rules on his instance. Nothing illegal, and you can't attack anyone for saying anything they want (rules that are dog whistles for the worst). He's anti-Semitic, at the least. I'm sure I'd find more problems with his brain if he allowed his posts to be public.
I've blocked the instance.

FYI - Super fascist, women hating troll - VoxClamans - has another profile that I blocked just moments ago. Do yourself a favour - search for profiles under that name & block them all. Unless you enjoy interacting with fascist bigots who spam people with comments like calling Francesca Albanese - a whore & just being a nasty, hateful anonymous troll.
This troll had multiple accounts. I've blocked every single one that showed up in past & present searches.
