Just a note for some of the other #MastoAdmin 's out there - On Universeodon.com we've seen a huge number of reports for an account due to it being a new account with no posts and a very large follower / following count.
As far as I can currently see and based on the info provided when they requested an account it's migrating from another instance. As far as I can see the account is in fact legitimate but we will keep an eye as I appreciate it is "Weird" having a 0 post account with thousands of followers / following relationships all of a sudden.
If anyone does see anything weird with any of the accounts on the instances please do report it as it is appreciated. I can't directly reply to these reports so didn't want folks to think it had been entirely ignored!

I blocked "loli.rodeo", which looks like a 4chan-esque troll server.
Go figure with that name.
I'd recommend blocking it. It seems to have stopped most of the trolling I've been getting.
EDIT: tsundere.love, nekosat.work, dsmc.space, loli.church and nightshift.social too. Same 4chan shite.

Sin comentarios recibidos por ninguna parte, se procede al #FediBlock de toda la administración de fedi.lat, y de la cuenta que utilizan para "recomendar" bloqueos. Este bloqueo no impedirá que los propios administradores puedan acceder libremente con cualquier cuenta no bloqueada, o con cuentas en otras instancias, y será revertido cuando se considere oportuno.

A estas alturas yo creo que deberíamos repasar algunas cuestiones básicas de educación y etiqueta.
- Cualquier persona puede tener un mal día y, por frustración o enojo momentáneo, decir o escribir cosas que no se sienten realmente, y de las cuales se arrepiente luego.
- El problema surge cuando esa persona luego no se desdice, y mantiene lo dicho, sea por orgullo, pedantería o ignorancia. Se perdona si es un descuido u olvido.
- Tarde o temprano alguien va a recoger ese guante. Cuando eso ocurre, es de pésimo gusto utilizar como escudo la pertenencia a grupos minoritarios o en desventaja social.
- Cuando un mensaje, en una red social, está marcado como público, es natural esperar críticas. Eso no convierte a quien las hace en reply guy.
- Cuando se banaliza la figura de un comportamiento deplorable, además de lo reprobable del acto en sí, se desvirtúa la conversación y se enrarece el ecosistema. Es una forma de intriga —un comportamiento que nadie quiere aquí.
- Los canales apropiados para manejar los casos reales de acoso son, en orden de importancia: silenciado, bloqueo, reporte, denuncia en juzgado.
- El #Fediblock es una herramienta que debería restringirse a los casos de patente delito: amenazas, discurso de odio, pornografía infantil. También para el mero spam. Siempre con pruebas sólidas. Su utilización como arma contra quienes piensan distinto o tienen otros puntos de vista es una actitud miserable que lleva a una pérdida de tiempo y de confianza.
- En líneas generales, se debe actuar como si se estuviera cara a cara. El anonimato que brinda internet no te da derecho a comportarte de forma egocéntrica y mezquina.

We're suspending the user @fasterthanlime@hachyderm.io for harassment a Puerto Rican FOSS contributor and being a sloperator (someone who ruins the environment and code quality using ai).
The FOSS contributor fasterthanlime harassed created an open source list of software projects infected with ai slop, and was harassed into leaving the FOSS community by people such as fasterthanlime who love LLMs more than they love BIPOC fems in this community.
What they did was shameful. They have tens of thousands of followers on fedi and thousands on GitHub. They knew what they were doing.
Fasterthanlime even went and removed all references to Kat from their project and kept publicly shaming her. This is highly inappropriate.

LLM defenders are not allowed on this instance, especially if they harass Puerto Rican comrades out of the FOSS community. This is awful.
Anyone coming to defend LLMs or LLM users in the comments will be suspended.
