But we can fix it!
We'll fix it using Fedibuzz, a hashtag aggregator.
Let's use "monsterdon" again.
You take your tag, and add it to the end of this URL:

In this case, that gives you:
https ://relay.fedi.buzz/tag/monsterdon
Copy that into the search box (without the space), and hit enter. You'll see a special profile come up, with a Follow button.
Click on the follow button.
Done.
You still need the tag subscription, but now you'll see more. Enjoy!

Gleichzeitig fördern die Plattformen damit unweigerlich auch ungesunde Debatten- und Diskussionskulturen.
Als politische Parteien, gemeinnützige Vereine, öffentliche Institutionen und Bildungseinrichtungen müssen diese sich fragen, ob es mit ihren Werten vereinbar ist, auf Plattformen aktiv zu sein, die
1. aktiv und bewusst Hass und Hetze schüren,
2. aktiv und bewusst Des- und Falschinformationen verbreiten,
3. Diskriminierung von Minderheiten innerhalb einer Gesellschaft begünstigen und

I've seen lots of takes regarding threads.net starting federating and what that might imply for the #Fediverse lately (I'll link a few at the end of this thread).
I'd like to discuss and address some of the points that have been raised over and over in one single place:
1. for #Facebook/#Meta this is not really about us fedizens
2. thou shall not gatekeep!
3. block those who don't block (please don't)
4. they can already get our data (not legally, no)

Es muss bei einem #Mastodon-Profil gar nicht um #Followerzahlen gehen.
Denn das Gute ist: Auch Menschen, die Social Media sonst nicht nutzen, gelangen hier einfach und sicher an Informationen: Ein Web-Browser genügt!
Im Unterschied zu kommerziellen „sozialen Netzwerken“ wie #FaceBook oder #Instagram gibt es hier #barrierefreie Zugänge ohne Anmeldung und ohne Preisgabe von persönlichen Daten.
Ideal für Vereine, Behörden, Kommunen, Verkehrsbetriebe, Stadtwerke, Organisationen, Institutionen und viele mehr!
