but the goal of a decentralized network is everyone. to let everyone run their own system with their own moderation and let everyone decide which systems should connect.
that's an issue of architecture and norms. sadly I don't think #bluesky is doing great on either front and they are giving the whole endeavor a bad name imo.
refusing to be bullied is good but then you have to give people other places to go with different moderation but still connected.

On Deleting BlueSky
For what it's worth, I’ve done it. Never really used it anyway.
I deleted Twitter when Musk took over. I viewed it as mostly garbage before Musk and rarely used it.
I deleted Facebook and other Meta accounts when Zuckerberg went full Trump/fascist.
Mastodon is a great replacement for Twitter, et. al.
But, we need a similar replacement for Facebook. I’ve looked for one since then and haven’t found a reasonable replacement. I hear that countries in the EU and maybe Canada are working on something. I hope so. By and large, US tech companies, and especially social media companies, cannot be trusted.
The one feature that I wish Mastodon would add is a group page with invited group members that can be made either public or private. If that were added then a separate Facebook replacement wouldn’t be needed.

Mastodon has moderation problems, too. But on mastodon people can actually really switch to another server.

Como ya dije en la última oleada, para toda la gente de Bluesky que está llegando a Mastodon aquí va un consejo: para limpiar un termo poned dos cucharaditas de bicarbonato y añadid un chorro de vinagre. Después llenadlo con agua caliente y dejadlo cerrado durante una hora. Pasado ese tiempo aclarad y tendréis un termo limpio y sin olores.
