How could you represent a quotation in ActivityPub‽
...
I suppose there are 2 major approaches.
Either use an existing Object Type. Maybe:
type="Note"
Or create a new Object Type:
type="Quotation"
...
Here is the interesting thing though —

One thing I used to do a lot on social-media is — post quotations.
Sometimes I was reading a book. And, I would quote things from the book and post it on social-media.
Or I was reading a scholarly paper, or reading a blog post, or watching a video, or listening to a podcast, etc.

I was thinking — how could you represent a quotation in ActivityPub‽

Egun on! Ez dakit galdera ondo ulertu dudan. @teknopata ren kasuan Wordpresdeko #ActivityPub plugina erabiltzen dut. Horrek bloga fedibertsora konektatzen du: erabiltzaile bat (edo gehiago) sortzen ditu, eta blogean publikatutakoa fedibertsoan ere jartzen du haien izenean. Blogeko sarrera bakoitza fedibertsoko mezu bat da.
Teorian, blogean idatzitako erantzunak ere fedibertsora botatzen ditu, eta fedibertsoko erantzunak blogera.

Es wäre wirklich gut, wenn es für #Diaspora langsam mal ein #ActivityPub Plugin/Connector geben würde, ansonsten war es das wohl. Obwohl, #Libertree gibt es ja auch immer noch irgendwie.

Hi @pfefferle@mastodon.social, I was just curious why @activitypub.blog@activitypub.blog was a user and not a group on NodeBB, so I checked out its AP representation on BrowserStack.
This stood out:
... "generator": { "type": "Application", "implements": { "href": "https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc9421", "name": "RFC-9421: HTTP Message Signatures" } }, ... I thought "how would you be able to represent multiple implementations if implements is an object?

@gbargoud @mcc #Friendica/#Hubzilla has been on #ActivityPub for a long time, and it already speaks #ATProto. It's the go-to Fediverse software for multiple protocols - I used it to read Twitter before they closed their API, and you can also subscribe to RSS and interact with Diaspora.
I don't know the details on how their ATProto implementation works though.
