@docjones.bsky.social @merleeperlee.bsky.social Genau.
Hm, no tags. Although there are plenty. Why is that?

@justtheclaire Ours is a continuous work-in-progress - https://plusbrothers.net/english - / @english based on WordPress and ActivityPub. We are two friends, amateur bloggers. We share our experiences together with fiction stories, against serophobia (HIV stigma) now you won't find so much to read as the English section is quite new and we do it just on our free time. #ActivityPub #blog #WordPress #writing

A specific project does not directly come to mind, but a whole lotta #ActivityPub projects can be found at the #DelightfulCommons initiative, which has 3 curated #fediverse-related sublists that are worth checking out..

0. I'm sorry to read of your sadness. I wish you well, for what little it is worth.
1. You have a perspective that allows you to see things others perhaps cannot see (yet). There is always some way one can exploit such a vantage point to weigh the dice, or adjust one's course a little, to one's relative advantage (to provide some little improvement in the future one would not likely have otherwise achieved). Agreed; hard to see with certainty how to save the world. I'd suggest we live in an age of great-power transition. At the risk of harking on about #Asimov 's #Foundation books, shortening the chaotic periods between stable peaceful periods of relatively democratic hegemony is probably the key.
2. Some #activitypub social media servers are structured to encourage users to moderate their own little gardens within them. The obvious example to me is #PieFed, a link aggregator. I suspect there's a way to leverage this to convey to users that they ought to assume that they alone are responsible for curating their "feeds".
3. Would you like someone to suggest philosophy reading that might help, or at least entertain? There's a spectrum of interesting stuff out there from the very internal-locus-of-control #stoic texts, to the balanced conventional wisdom of modern medical textbooks, to the very happy-clappy philosophies like spiritualism.
I suspect there are other hashtags that would put the matter in front of more erudite minds for their consideration, but I'm ignorant of them. Happy to accept suggestions or boosts.

I have a ActivityPub technical question, please help :)
If User A on Server A posts a comment to a post on Server B. Is the comment then saved and delivered from Server A or Server B when viewed in the interface of Server B?

This is likely not what you seek in terms of simplicity, but I wanted to mention in the context of earlier discussion on #ActivityPub JSON-LD versus #RDF XML.
The #openEngiadina project for a long time pursued an ActivityPub-based implementation for its open local knowledge network, but found it too complex, esp. in the areas where the specs are immature and incomplete.
So the research project switched to #XMPP/RDF and had some good experiences.
Regarding FEDERATION.md and automation. This is hard because the document is hard to access in a machine readable format. If people want to see this to happen, it would be useful to update the fep-67ff implementation list with lists to the raw markdown document (which is much easier to parse).
If somebody does this, one could extract the sections mentioned in Tempalte.
For more details see here and if somebody is interested in doing this work, please mention me there.
Let’s try this again.
Server A users are not posting or boosting anything that is objectionable to Server B.
But Server A is federating with servers Server B does not like. [1]
How does this affect Server B in any way? Or, why would Server B cite this as a reason to defederate from Server A?
Is it merely a case of association fallacy? (“Server A federates with bad servers, therefore Server A must be bad.”)
Or are there any legitimate problems Server A is causing for Server B?
[1] Usually because they find defederating to be too extreme for most situations, with too much collateral damage to innocent bystanders…so they use other means to block bad users.

Anyone got a nifty tool to #repost #toots backed up from an #account #archive?
Sadly #Mastodon doesn't have that option.
