船新起航——Ghost
大一的时候很喜欢搞博客，经常去美化，但是博客文章也基本都是“如何部署XXX博客”、“如何美化个人博客”、在现在看来虽然不是完全的浪费时间，但是也是在没有需求创造需求了，所以一直没有延续下去，以及到后面的discourse、lemmy、misskey，我现在认为都是为了新鲜去托管部署，但是最近的GoToSocial、Mastodon才让我感觉到这是我需要的，现在Ghost将作为我的博客系统复活，主要是为了防止在Mastodon输出过长的嘟文（虽然改到了5000字限制，但是真要当博客还应当是专业的软件），而且Ghost 6.0支持activitypub协议，以后能在Mastodon、Misskey等等地方直接关注博客了！确实是非常“革命”性的更新。
希望这个不是伪需求的博客能长久下去......

I'm curious about this:
If there were more tools/resources/services available for small community servers, would you be more inclined to bring your friends/community onto the fediverse?
The classic social media problem of "everyone wants to socialize-very few want to run infrastructure"- that can lead us to the same centralization problem we see in mainstream platforms.
If there was for example a well documented open source self-hostable activitypub implementation specifically made for small communities , I think that would be great for the fediverse.
I'm working on a project I'm really excited to share soon, but I wanted to get some thoughts :D

Acho que um dos pontos que mais me deixam frustrada é quando puxam a disputa AP vs AT e só jogam do lado do AT o Bluesky, sendo que existem muitos outros apps com AT além do microblog (eu lá uso tanto outros apps quanto o Bluesky na real, teve meses que usei até mais outros apps que o Bluesky nesse ano).
Na real, resumir toda a disputa de descentralização só no campo do microblog é tão razo… Microblog sempre foi bem bichado no meio das redes sociais das big techs, não vai ser magicamente diferente fora delas.
Boa parte de textos que vejo, seus autores conhecem bem o Fediverso e suas variações, só que desconhecem o que a galera da ATmosfera construiu e segue construindo coisas novas toda semana, e ficam focando apenas no Bluesky e a dinâmica de poder/influência/interferência (como preferir chamar) que a empresa Bluesky PBC realmente tem lá.
Eu consigo ver benefícios e desvantagens em ambos os protocolos devido a suas abordagens diferentes de buscar a descentralização da internet social. Tudo depende muito do objetivo final de uma pessoa ou coletivo.

@devs it's not only spam, but also that #Forums don't map 1-to-1 to #Microblogging platforms, and how to best integrate both of these domains well in the interoperable #fediverse, is still an ongoing effort.
I'd pose that #SocialHub #ActivityPub community has not benefitted from their long-term desire to become fully #fedi integrated, because of these #challenges.
But this forum exists exactly for that kind of experiments, to find what works and learn from it. Things are improving, but slowly.

This is why the forums don’t syndicate to Mastodon
Twice, in the past, I have thought it would be nice if everyone’s stuff made it out onto social media. Both times, I have enabled syndicating forum topics. Both times it went badly.
We ended up syndicating spam that is easy to remove here, but hangs about in FediSpace forever.
A bit like this:
I’m sure there must be a way to revoke that stuff, but I’m not sure what that way is. So, until we can undo spam that gets syndicated, forum stuff will remain local only. If someone can help me figure out how to unspam social media, I think it would be nicer to take a poll to see if our active members even want our forums appearing on social media.
