Does choice of server affect the reach of your posts? (Assuming you use the same hashtags.)
Obviously you don’t want to be posting from a server that’s blocked by vast swathes of the network.
But is there any other way the choice of instance affects post reach?

In diesem anderen Thread von Lioh Müller habe ich da schon etwas ausführlicher geantwortet. Nein, es stirbt nicht, ganz im Gegenteil. Insbesondere wenn jetzt auch Ghost und Wordpress (das ja schon etwas länger) mitspielen wird es vermutlich bald ziemlich wachsen. Auch gibt es immer mehr und mehr interessante Anwendungen, die das #ActivityPub Protokoll nutzen, über diese beiden freue ich mich z.B. sehr:
- Wanderer - So eine Art Komoot in dezentral (noch sehr früh in seiner Entwicklung
- und für ernsthafte #Fotografen Vernissage
Genau genommen finde ich die Frage von Lioh Müller sogar ziemlich Absurd. Klar, das Fediverse ist nicht Instagram oder Facebook und wird vermutlich nie die Nutzerzahlen dieser Silos erreichen, aber sterben wird es nicht, sondern immer relevanter werden.

Zaraz wada ;) Tak po prostu zostało to zaprojektowane w #Mobilizon. IMO po to, by umożliwić wielu osobom z zespołu publikowanie pod jednym profilem organizacji (grupą).
#Gancio na przykład w ogóle nie publikuje w #ActivityPub poszczególnych kont, tylko zbiorcze, jedno na cały serwer (choć jak będzie w wersji 2 nad którą trwają prace to jeszcze nie wiem). Można za to włączyć opcję publikacji wydarzeń anonimowo. To ukłon w stronę aktywistów, którzy coś organizują, a nie chcą upubliczniać swoich profili.

#Mobilizon jest świetny. Podobna funkcjonalność wydarzeń i integracja z #fediwersum dostępna jest w #Gancio napisanym przez aktywistów włoskich.
Jako @koop hostujemy instancję https://gancio.pl by każdy mógł się zapoznać. To nowe wdrożenie, więc jest "pusto".
Gancio bardziej nastawione jest na wykorzystanie przez jedną organizację/firmę do hostowania swoich wydarzeń. Nie ma osobnych "kont" #activitypub, nie promuje ich, obserwuje się jeden profil główny i otrzymuje wszystkie wydarzenia na serwerze.
Ma fajną integrację z kalendarzami i z podsystemem wydarzeń (#Events) #WordPress-a (jest osobna wtyczka).
My w kooperatywie będziemy używać głównie w ten sposób: strona WordPress z ActivityPub i wydarzeniami wypychanymi do szerszej publiczności do Gancio, gdzie wydarzenia od wielu podmiotów/organizacji mogą być konsumowane przez publiczność w jednym miejscu.
Polecam przetestować co lepiej będzie pasować do use case, Mobilizon czy Gancio. Gancio jest też "lżejsze" od Mobilizona.
Gancio wykorzystywane jest na co dzień przez projekt społecznego portalu gminy Brwinów jako terminarz wydarzeń i kalendarz dyżurów:

Ist es möglich, dass das #activitypubPlugIn mit der neuen Funktion um die Reaktionen als Zitat anzuzeigen die Einstellung, dass ich keine Avatare von Kommentatoren anzeigen lasse, ignoriert wird?
Das angezeigte Zitat ist hier auf Mastodon übrigens auch schon wieder gelöscht, aber im Blog kommt das nicht an.
