Wäre es nicht super, wenn man sich mit seinem Mastodon-Account einfach für eine Veranstaltung anmelden könnte - so wie das früher bei Facebook möglich war? Derzeit geht das noch nicht. I've improved federation support for Lemmy and other servers that support FEP-1b12 Group Federation.
I had to increase the number of available file descriptors on my personal server 4x because of the resultant inbound volume of ActivityPub activities! I liked a federated post and DOSed my server.

@stefanmuelller Vermutlich meinst Du eine andere #ActivityPub-Situation, aber in Mastodon falle ich regelmäßig auf mich selbst rein, wenn ich was schreibe, wofür ich selber einen Filter angelegt habe.
Der Effekt klingt ähnlich.

What's cool about #ActivityPub is a server could auto delete posts by sending delete activities to all known servers while keeping the original private and letting the owner keep their memories.
