i connected the USB ssd to my laptop, wiped the partition table put a new got table and a single partition as an ext4 drive... after that the Proxmox VM was happy with the disk and now its my /home
So I'm one step closer to immich, peertube, and etc

My current #matrix server uses #tuwunel , which is a lightweight version of matrix. With the default #yunohost installation, I don't think it has voice chat and screensharing. And so far, I only used the #fluffychat client.
The real full-featured version is #synapse . I wanna try hosting it myself and see if it can actually replace #discord with the Element client.

So I should probably just ask for help with my #linux #yunohost #proxmox setup.
I made a little Yunohost VM with the idea that the real storage would be to put /home on an external USB that I had lying around from a previous project. It's an m3 SSD in a USB aluminum enclosure. But the issue is if I pass the USB through to the VM it doesn't get properly recognized. First time this has happened, and I figure it's probably specific to this enclosure hardware. What should I do?

I am now thinking about taking this as the sign to finally start self-hosting and spin up a Matrix/Element instance for me and my friends, maybe using @yunohost . Can anyone recommend a good VPS provider, ideally located in Germany? The market seems really big but it also seems difficult to get a real overview. Are there maybe any small local providers?

I installed #Cryptpad on #Yunohost and everything seems to be working fine. But I have a question.
I save my documents in Cryptdrive. Is Cryptdrive on my computer (my server) and if so, where can I find these documents on my disk?
Or is Cryptdrive a kind of account on the company's servers? Are my documents stored on your servers in some kind of Cryptdrive account with free basic space?
