I have spent a tedious 4 hours today manually adding over 200 old blog entries from 2001 - 2012 onto my new host. Bearblog is a really awesome, minimal blogging platform, but boy did I wish for an import function today lol. At least I found a decent Wordpress plugin first for exporting to the right format.
The amusing irony is that no one is ever going to read them. Exactly how interesting is someone's 20yr old diary? Not old enough to be retro or nostalgic, not new enough to resonate with the youth of today.

It's sad and shocking to see everyone losing their mind in real time.
There are some glaring obvious issues to be discussed when it comes to #GenerativeAI integration: environmental issues, issues of power and control, of accountability and impacts on society.
None of which are addressed when #WordPress is discussing #AI.
We lost #Mozilla, we are losing #WordPress, so a bunch of libertarians and their investors can wreck what's left of the western world. Sad times.

Quelqu'un a-t-il des recommandations pour l'#hébergement d'un #SiteWeb pour une toute petite #association ? Notre site web actuel est un #WordPress hébergé chez un hébergeur qui est vraiment cher pour ce que c'est, et j'essaie de regarder comment réduire le budget hébergement. On a relativement peu de visites, c'est juste utile d'avoir un site pour garder une présence.
J'ai pas mal d'options parmi les classiques (OVH, Gandi, Infomaniak) qui sont déjà >3x moins chères. Gandi en particulier a une option à 2€HT/an domaine inclus qui me semble vraiment trop peu chère pour être honnête, quelqu'un a des retours?
