Its owner openly condones creating child abuse material using its AI.
The U.S.A. government is now parroting Nazi slogans.
It's literally a Nazi bar with paedophiles and scammers given free rein. Why on Earth are the U.K. political parties and others still using Twitter?

Steunen deze politici niet ook het maken van #kinderporno? Terwijl veel politici #chatcontrol willen wordt dit ongemoeid gelaten.

X, formerly known as Twitter, is a machine that automates the mass-production of CSAM. Its Generative AI chatbot, Grok, is being used to produce non-consensual sexually-explicit images of children. The people who run Twitter know it, and appear to be fine with that. In fact, rather than stop it, they've moved the feature behind a paywall to extract more money from a certain type of customer.
According to reports in the media, Grok generates approximately 6,700 sexually explicit images per hour, with 85% of the images generated by Grok being sexually explicit. Without spending a lot of time on Twitter, I think it's difficult to estimate how many of those are CSAM, though it's said to be a high enough proportion that witnessing it is unavoidable. Presumably, Grok also generates approximately 1,182 images per hour that are not sexually explicit. Gosh, that's a lot of non-sexual images.
I want to make it clear so people don't conflate two very separate issues: this is about child abuse; it's not about people's right to create, distribute, or see adult sexual content. It would be prudish (and technologically unfeasible) to suggest Apple and Google should ban all sexually explicit images from their platforms. At this point, it's also worth standing-up in support of artists and sex-workers if they want an online presence. They should not be victimised by bad-faith actors and concern-trolls who weaponise our care for vulnerable kids with refrains such as "Think of the children".
Apple and Google app stores have clear rules about using their networks to distribute CSAM. Shouldn't Apple and Google be making public statements about investigating and blocking Twitter? It appears that Apple and Google are breaking their own rules on content distribution and community standards. Why? Are the leaders of these companies gutless hypocrites? Do they like CSAM? Are they doing nepotistic favours for Elon Musk?
