So, Apple goes to great lengths building the new design system, including the `backgroundExtensionEffect`, a headline feature that mirrors a view into safe areas (i.e., beneath the sidebar on iPad)… and it just doesn't work in a List, even if remove the margins?
Am I missing something?

A mouth's six points interpolate smoothly between poses in this ECS system exploration, each line a straight segment drawn separately with partial transparency to emulate a pseudo-vector-like electron beam.
In the background 500 framerate-based simple geometric shapes bounce around to in contrast to the time-based animation of the mouth.
