Social media shouldn't feel like a toxic relationship.
On Valentine's Day, we're asking people and organisations to take control of their relationship with social media.
Set boundaries, communicate your needs, and move on if they're not being met. We deserve to use social media that values us, rather than our data.
There are plenty of fish in the sea, we just need to show them that the biggest isn't always the best 👀

I think I'm giving up on upscrolled.
It's not worth wasting time there.
My reasons:
- no way to filter posts
- lack of contents
- full of spam(porn, crypto, religion etc)
- fake accounts & pretend accounts
- reports don't work
- videos can't be posted half the time
I understand the developers intention is good, but it's just unbearable spending half my time reporting and blocking crap.
I may go back later

I love #Mastodon and the #fediverse
I think lots of people don't _know_ about this wonderful way to connect to people, how #socialmedia can be - but
I think people think the algorithm helps them, whereas I think that's big tech marketing.
I am sharing the same posts here and LinkedIn and Facebook, and I'm curious to see which performs best.
