The scam accounts aren't a problem. You can ignore them or report them, but it means that if you are a nobody trying to build up a following, your time on there is filled with meaningless interaction and very little reach.
It's like a #SocialMedia that has a column of popular accounts, then around that, millions and millions of tiny, insignificant accounts.
You will probably only become a big account if you post Palestine activism and hot takes
The app doesn't really allow much other content
