Google now trying to force everyone in Australia to log into YouTube to see any content at all, reversing the old semi-open model (but only for Australia).
And to log-in, gotta give up privacy and ID (or use a VPN). This is playing out splendidly.
TOR downloads over there btw for a tested quick and dirty work around.

Can't replicate YouTube block from five eyes IPs. UK gets a popup, but can just click through.
Random sample of other countries are also fine, so assuming new block is Australia specific and kicked in today.
