I've posted about our friend Colt in Montana. I don't know how much good that's done, but I've done it before and I'll do it again, and I feel like I'm really bad at not doing it more often. The most desperate people are the ones in need of most help with #crowdfunding and #begposting and all that, AND they're also in the worst position to do so.
If they attempt to make up for their desperation by sheer repetition and volume, which of course is the NATURAL thing to do when you're in pain and nobody's helping you—because that's the natural thing to do when nobody comes to help, you scream louder as long as you're even able to scream—well that's when some shıtbag on #socialmedia, someone who's decided to set themselves up as the #donation police, sniffing out everyone they convince themselves is just "faking" or who isn't asking nicely enough or whatever, figures it's time to Do Good™ and save the world from another beggar. For Jesus, maybe, because as well all know Jesus hates beggars.
