Here's an Internet mystery that experts have failed to solve. The "Unfavorable Semicircle" YouTube channel popped up one day and pushed out thousands of seemingly incomprehensible videos. Packed with symbolism, distorted audio, and maybe a cryptographic nature, it spread theories like wildfire, from a social experiment to mental illness, to espionage.

The whole world is in serious trouble because it's largely run and controlled by people just as irrational and self-centered as @AVincentInSpace (I'll untag you after this, you needn't fret, I'm done using you as an example of stupidity. You're a GOOD example of stupidity, if that's any help.) Such thick-witted, arrogant, small-minded people clog up the ranks of #management and #technology and #softwareengineering...one runs into tens of thousands of such persons on the #Internet and #socialmedia, they dominate #journalism (whether they're being reported on, or doing the reporting), they've taken hold of #politics, they make the decisions, and every single last one of them is utterly convinced that (a) they're the smartest person in the room at any given time and (b) everyone else is stupid and dumb and ought to shut up and do as they're told.
These are the people who run things, the people who control corporations, the people who demand an endless supply of resources and "venture capital", the people who are absolutely certain that they ALWAYS know what they're doing, even when it's very obvious they don't know much of anything.
