US actions will not stop EU from moderating online hate and disinformation, EU commissioner says.
US visa sanctions will not stop the EU from enforcing its rules on online platforms, Stéphane Séjourné, European Commissioner for Internal Market and Services, said on Wednesday, after Washington imposed visa bans on individuals linked to the Digital Services Act, the EU law governing content moderation on social media.
