ToastTV 0.6.4 is out!
Discovered a nasty memory leak where logo processing spawned 5 ffmpeg subprocesses on every track transition causing OOM crashes 😬
Also fixed logo positioning and in-app updates that required sudo.
For this update to work on most setups, you need to ssh into the rpi and run: `/opt/toasttv/scripts/update.sh`

I'm a few hours late with my #PiDay post, but here's some of the testing for my #RaspberryPi powered home TV network.
In the garage, there's a bit of a mess of cables, but the orange box in the lower left is the RF modulator which converts composite signals from the Pis into radio frequencies which can be pushed to the rabbit ears antenna in the upper right.
Then, the TV in the den can pick up those signals via its own rabbit ears on the same type of analog stations it used to tune to.

This is something that will NEVER happen but if #Apple ever decides that they loveeee market share and chooses to commercialise their extremely nutty SOCs in the form of SBCs i.e. #RaspberryPi competitors (call them Apple Pi please) then wow it's so over. I'd buy dozens of em, day one.

My daughter, who loves the Doof, just sent me an insta post of someone who built a sweet Raspberry Pi enclosure to snap onto a DJ controller and run mixx, which is FOSS DJ software. Casually asked if I could do something like that.
That child knows exactly how to nerd snipe her dad, she's brutal.
