Rasperypi 500+ launched today. 16GB and 256GB nvme ssd. £172.80 whichsaly for me, makes it uncompetitive to the good N100 boxes you can get on aliexpress eg £100 for 16GB/500GB. Decent keyboards don"t cost £70.

When the pi500 came out probably the biggest complaint was the lack of NVMe so kudos that the new Raspberry Pi 500+ has a backlit mechanical.keyboard (lovely), 16GiB RAM but, especially, 256GiB NVMe. All for £172.
Although, at my age, the glyphs on the keycaps could have been bigger 😅

Raspberry Pi has released the new $200 (£180) Raspberry Pi 500+ which has a full mechanical RGB keyboard, 16GB of RAM and now features the Pi 500's missing NVMe.

@olav Gratuliere! Mein #PicoCalc beheimatet schon seit einigen Wochen auch einen #RaspberryPi Pico 2W und ich habe auch die entsprechende Variante von MMBasic drauf. 👍
Warte schon seit einigen Monaten auf die Lieferung der 𝛍Console von #ClockworkPi, bekam aber auf Nachfrage jetzt die Antwort, dass es wohl noch dauert … 🙄

@metawops, es gibt einen weiteren #PicoCalc in Bonn.
In meinem tickt ein #RaspberryPi pico2w. Als Firmware habe ich die WebMite-Variante von MMBasic installiert. Das ist ein wenig old school, hat aber einen eingebauten Editor und Netzwerk-Console.
Das kann nicht ganz schlecht sein: Jemand hat eine Z-Maschine zum Spielen klassischer #TextAdventures darin programmiert.

Sehr technischer Artikel - macht aber zweierlei deutlich: Wie stark sich Russland für seine Drohnen auch westlicher Technik bedient und wie ausgefeilt ihre Konstruktionen mittlerweile sind.
Eigentlich befindet sich der Westen längst im Drohnenkrieg mit den Russen - eine Bedrohung, auf die die Nato schnell Antworten finden muss.
