I know a lot about software, but very little about network config. Just re-imaged my RPi 3B and installed pihole, but I don't think my router is fancy enough to allow setting a custom DNS server. I think I need a hand-holding guide.

Sharing a helpful comparison for Raspberry Pi newbies: #RaspberryPi OS Lite (minimal CLI/headless for servers, low RAM/storage use) vs Desktop (PIXEL GUI with tools like browser/Control Centre, needs monitor/keyboard). Plus real benchmarks measuring speed, memory & CPU usage between them!
