The Python Software Foundation had an application in for a government grant, which was made contingent on them committing to not do anything related to DEI.
They withdrew their application and are standing by their widely diverse, international community instead.

Quand la Fondation #Python démontre pourquoi il est très important de soutenir et de choisir des projets communautaires basés sur de véritables valeurs humaines (comme #Python, mais aussi #Debian ou #ArchLinux).
Alors qu'elle était bien engagée pour bénéficier de financements publics au USA, elle y a renoncé pour respecter sa charte qui promeut la #diversité.

Today, I spent sometime building a web prototype of the #Tamilchol classifier. If you remember, I shared my progress on building a Python library to process #Tamil words (https://mastodon.social/@prashere/114056949176728645), this is a web version utilizing it.
