Die PSF Python verzichtet auf einen 1,5 Mio. $‑Zuschuss der US‑Regierung (US‑National Science Foundation (NSF)). Denn dafür wäre sie gezwungen, ihre fest verankerten Richtlinien zu Diversität, Gleichberechtigung und Inklusion (DEI) zu verwässern oder zumindest nicht öffentlich zu verteidigen.

@float13 Many languages have an if function that I like to use (ifn/ifc in SAS, iif in Excel). Other langues offer a ternary operator that achieves the same thing (? in C, if/else in Python). These functions and operators could be used to streamline assignments and even complex equations.
#Python specifically requires using the if/else ternary operator instead of if else for making a lambda function.
