Someone said I need a particular kind of formal logic to tackle a problem. I don't really like those systems, hard to read, hard to write... But I figure I can just take another look and maybe it will look different to me this time.

So I found docs.logic1.eu/index.html and it probably works fine.

My issue is that I would like the logical statement expression to be string-like and portable and not baked into the code-definition.

It's not "f(x) = result" it blends f and x into one?

I'm just making a crash course of python with a project idea to make an apertus-cli tool. I'm really excited, I've been delaying learning python for too long.

Just setting up my old #DIY #Halloween scarer for tonight's gorge-fest. It's motion activated and runs on an old #RaspberryPi -when triggered, the eyes light up and it plays a "spooky laugh" clip that I recorded with my 14YO when he was about 6. I had to down-tune it because at 6, his voice was quite high pitched! It goes in the rafters of our little porch, where you can't easily see it in the dark, until it lights up that is! The local trick-or-treaters seen to like it anyway. It runs a tiny #python program that monitors a PIR motion detector, and plays the sound and switches on the lights when it sees motion. The face is #3dprinted in white and then blackened with a marker pen so that the lights inside can shine through it. The box is a cut down standard cardboard vegetable crate painted black. The electronics are all taped to the back of the box.
