We should definitely know more about Edward Bernays, Anna Freud, Ewan Cameron, and the relationship between authoritarianism, consumerism, "emotional regulation™️ " as a strategy to manipulate people into some kind of hyperindividual, docile "democracy™️ ."" (which meant to maintain the status quo of (cishetero) patriarchy, anti-Black/Anti-Indigenous settler-colonial capitalism, and ableism. Going to write a @friendsofccmusic 5-year plan. What are some things people in the #ccmusic & #netlabel would like to see in it?
One thing that has been on my mind is that if we create educational content we dont need any money for that. It would be nice to run our own #peertube instance but we dont *need* to. Perhaps it would make sense to budget a donation to dalek.zone.
big problem is that no 1 has stepped up to say they would be interested in teaching but maybe we need to market that more
