@scobel Es wäre eine Überlegung wert, ob Ihr die Videos auch bei #peertube einstellen mögt. Da sind sie garantiert werbefrei. Vielleicht findet sich ja eine passende Instanz. Ggf. können @digitalcourage auch behilflich sein?
Das Fediverse liebt Euch wie Ihr gemerkt habt. Ich z.B kann Euch nicht auf YouTube folgen. Die Videos schau ich über Invidious oder mit dem DuckDuckGo Player. Da seh ich dann keine Werbung. Aber der Algorithmus sieht mich auch nicht.

And everyone who I sent the video links on Sunday, tells me "the website isn't working" (or is asking for an iphone workaround (?) LOL are iphone users SO used to things requiring a workaround? XD)

Je pense même à utiliser #FloatPlane pour suivre le contenu de #LTT au lieu de #YouTube donc je pense que j'ai plus envie que je ne pensais de consommer ailleurs.

Die Ironie der Technik
Unser Kandidatenvideo ist im Moment nicht abrufbar, weil der Server, den wir bei #Peertube nutzen, ein Problem hat.
Im Vorfeld schien uns der Server stabil: Timing ist eben alles!
Nun ist das auch ein Beispiel für die Schwierigkeiten der selbst organisierten Technologie – es muss alles selbst gemacht werden. Das kann manchmal eben etwas dauern.
Das Timing ist nun zwar sehr ungünstig für uns, aber dennoch bleibt Eigenständigkeit langfristig besser als Abhängigkeit.
Also, liebe Freunde bei peertube.wtf, lasst uns nicht im Stich! 😘

Bloody hell, there are loads of good new PeerTube accounts now. Feels like it's growing as word spreads about individual good instances 👍
This is night and day compared to PeerTube five years ago. Much, much better and a wider range of topics covered. Also a lot more good single-user instances too.
