I was told that the internal network of my university has no #ipv6 Internet access. That is very unfortunate for many reasons. One reason: my #peertube instance with lecture recordings and instructional videos is IPv6-only and has no legacy IPv4 connectivity.
Perhaps I can hack some sort of tcpcat proxy on my @ubernauten Account to relay IPv4 requests to the IPv6 VPS. Would that work?

What's the difference between "content scrapers" and legit viewers.
How do you flag them?
A few years ago, my (local) TV station had bandwidth caps hit by an Indian TV global content website.
We couldn't even come up with a legit counter, as IP region block was imperfect.

Ok, weird time to announce this, but I have to.
This weekend I'll be taking down my #PeerTube instance for maintenance. I've come under attack by content scrapers, and must take some mitigation efforts to keep them from hitting my network usage cap this month.
So far it's more of a nuisance than anything but I have to take some sort of action before it gets worse. Hopefully the outage will be brief and be barely noticeable.

Do you know if it is a a design choice or technical reason for paus and buffer is gone?
Reason asking is for projects like #peertube where selfhosting by anyone makes it a financial threshold to be able to avoid stutter the more people want to watch.
