Ich möchte wirklich gern mehr #peertube nutzen. Und ich möchte mich wirklich gern eine Account erstellen. Aber warum ist das so schwer? Ich finde keine einzigen Kanal, der meine Anmeldung dort akzeptiert.
Aber ohne Account kann ich nicht liken oder kommentieren. Weiß jemand Rat oder hat einen Vorschlag?

@tisha AI translated titles and #AI dubbing are even worse, in my opinion :
- It happens usually without the uploader's knowkedge, #youtube just does it on its own. I once saw a video against Youtube's AI dubbing, which was AI dubbed!
- You need to turn off AI dubbing for every video, it does not remember if you set it to the original audio track and always defaults to AI
- You need extensions or a modified app to be able to completely get rid of AI dubbing, but I have not found a way to get rid of AI translated video titles.

@inch ich hab keine Ahnung 
aber hätte gern welche. #Peertube soll ja eine YT Alternative sein. Und ich hab schon Videos dort aufgerufen hier von meinem troet.cafe account aus. Ging super.
Vielleicht werde ich mich auch auf einer Instanz anmelden. Ich fänds einfach gut, wenn interessante Videos auch außerhalb YouTube zu sehen wären.

J'ai adoré mon aventure avec toi depuis la 1.0-beta8.
Mais je dois admettre que je ne me sers plus assez de mon instance perso.
Et que je n'ai plus le temps de faire face à tes évolutions successives et les pannes qu'elles ont impliqué, d'abord quand je faisais les choses à la main, puis après t'avoir rapatriée sur #Yunohost.
Et v'là l'espace disque des vidéos, quoi.
Je vais donc te figer, te sauvegarder, télécharger les contenus à conserver.
Et puis je te dirai au revoir. 😭

@Verfassungklage hallo, hast du schon einmal von peertube gehört? Es wäre eine gute Alternative zu YouTube. Schau mal, da gibt es im Fediverse schon ne Menge Instanzen. Dann müsste ich nicht ständig zu YT, wenn ich deine Videos sehen möchte

Mondays mean: manually backing up my #YunoHost system.

I'm always surprised by the sheer size of backups - this time 15GB (ugh!) broken down as follows (from biggest to smallest):
#GoToSocial: 6.2 GB
#PeerTube: 4.3 GB
#NextCloud: 3.0 GB
#Pixelfed: 1.5 GB
#LinkStack: 91 MB
I'm brainstorming ways to make my GoToSocial backup size go down... I have cache set to 1 day only, so I'm trying unfollowing a few accounts (that I already follow from my Mastodon profile) to see if that makes a difference.
