The barren world wakes to a frozen air, the old man shivering drags himself from a sunken bed of pain, with his classical music playing he shuffles off to start his coffee, as he counts the scoops his hands shake in pain, cold to core he turns on the space heater hoping for warmth, stumbling off to the toilet he glances in the mirror, a disheveled look as his hair and beard are a mess, but his strength is not there, stumbling back to his bed, he struggles to pull on his pants, his coffee is there but his trembling hands splash a little every where, he pulls on his coat and packs his pipe with tobacco, and stumbles out the door, the sun barely past rising, the air sharp as knife, as he lights his pipe his first breath since last night, with a gasp and a choke, he wonders where is the snow, the world around ignores his plight, soon it will be another lonely winters night;

Dear Santa,
It would be a #Christmas Miracle, and it could be a reality if #Santa could find a way to help this #disabled man existing in #poverty to raise all the money he needs, to buy property to build his forever home, and fill it with all he will ever need, to have security and stability to have a roof that will be forever mine, to have the space to create and thrive, to have the room to grow and fill my life, to have the hope to not only live but have the means to also help others, if at first the number seems big, when you realize the need and the dream it really is rather small, to have and never need to stand and not fall to my knees, for if by Grace this Christmas be a gift for me to ever be, $5million will set me free, it will be the gift of life to me, if only all the Elf's in Santa's realm could and would join with me, and make this Christmas Wish a reality;

My mom has a dying kidney, and we cannot afford the med she is required to take for a while before surgery. This could, quite literally, kill her.
