My mom has a dying kidney, and we cannot afford the med she is required to take for a while before surgery. This could, quite literally, kill her.
I'm ultimately trying to save my mother's life. We need $125, and I feel terrible asking for so much, I just don't know what to do.

The air is crisp but mild as the old man drags his pain riddled body out a bed of discomforting misery, as his classical music plays he struggles to prepare his coffee to percolate, shuffling off to the toilet, his hair and beard a mess, as he lowers his stiff body down noises are abound, as he contemplates straining to crap, a shower today he thinks, a bar of soap he opens the shower door, turning on the water as it gets hot he clears off the washer and loads his dirty clothes, the steam bellowing out he knows its time to clean himself, the hot water like a scolding alarm, letting the water drizzle over him, he struggles to wash his hair and beard, the rinsing feels ritualistic, the bar slips from his weakened grasp, reaching to retrieve it, he slowly soaps his battered body, as the water flushes the dirt and grim away, the old man thinks, I am really not interested in another day, he shuts the water off, dragging the towel over the top he dries himself off, the arduous task of brushing out his hair and beard nearly exhaust him after the strenuous shower, shuffling off to the bed, he sits as he struggles to pull on his red union long johns, his socks seem to battle his feet, eventually standing he pulls on his pants, shuffling off to pour his coffee, and then carefully packing his pipe with tobacco, he pulls on his coat, with coffee in hand he straggles out the door, to a sun that is barely rising and to a world that could careless about his existence;

Upon a cloud of darkness drifting deeper through the void, for if despair was nothing more than disability and poverty, perhaps this cloud would fall apart, no sun for light nor warmth, no sound to break the silence, the screams of agony drowning in the weight of overwhelming despair, alone to suffer and struggle through the waves of constant pain, no comfort to find a moment of rest, no help to reach nor grasp, the eternal hunger lingers deep within the bowels of hell, another day has come and gone, my screams have reached no wall nor ear, my reach for help finds no hold, just a darkness void of life, drifting deeper in an existence of no relief;

Dear Santa,
It would be a #Christmas Miracle, and it could be a reality if #Santa could find a way to help this #disabled man existing in #poverty to raise all the money he needs, to buy property to build his forever home, and fill it with all he will ever need, to have security and stability to have a roof that will be forever mine, to have the space to create and thrive, to have the room to grow and fill my life, to have the hope to not only live but have the means to also help others, if at first the number seems big, when you realize the need and the dream it really is rather small, to have and never need to stand and not fall to my knees, for if by Grace this Christmas be a gift for me to ever be, $5million will set me free, it will be the gift of life to me, if only all the Elf's in Santa's realm could and would join with me, and make this Christmas Wish a reality;

Unsere #Instanz wächst und wächst. Gerade hatten wir unser 3-jähriges Jubiläum. Wir haben aktuell 243 trötende #Rüssel hier auf unserer Instanz und das bedeutet, dass unsere Instanz mit eine der erfolgreichen Instanzen im #deutsch sprachigen Raum geworden ist.
Das bedeutet aber auch, dass der Instanz #Server einiges zu leisten hat. Er muss performant bleiben und er muss groß genug sein, um die ganzen #Tröts mit ihren #Medien wie #Bilder und #Videos zu speichern. Auch der #Backup-Server muss entsprechend dimensioniert sein. Das alles kostet viel #Geld im #Monat, das ich vollständig aus der eigenen #Tasche bezahle.

Philip's Zesty Poverty Chili,
So I started by making my own tomato sauce, I started with a 28oz can of diced tomatoes that I dumped into the blender just to pulse a few times to turn the tomatoes into more of a smooth rather than the diced chunks, I added ~2TB of olive oil, 1TB of Italian seasoning, 1TP of Garlic powder, 2TP of Sugar, 1pinch of salt, 1 pinch of red pepper flakes, 1TP of Cocoa powder, and letting it simmer uncovered for a while so that it both reduces and melds together, my goal is to find a simple tomato sauce I can use on nearly anything, and reduce dependency on branded sauces, while having the control of actual flavor and ingredients,
Then I browned 1lb of ground turkey and 1lb of ground sausage with one onion diced up, then I transferred everything in to my crokpot, added 1 28oz can of rotel, 3/4cup of chili seasoning, 1 cup of dry mixed beans and 32oz of chicken stock, set on high for 6 hours, and there should be a hearty flavorful meal ready to eat;
