Dear Santa,
It would be a #Christmas Miracle, and it could be a reality if #Santa could find a way to help this #disabled man existing in #poverty to raise all the money he needs, to buy property to build his forever home, and fill it with all he will ever need, to have security and stability to have a roof that will be forever mine, to have the space to create and thrive, to have the room to grow and fill my life, to have the hope to not only live but have the means to also help others, if at first the number seems big, when you realize the need and the dream it really is rather small, to have and never need to stand and not fall to my knees, for if by Grace this Christmas be a gift for me to ever be, $5million will set me free, it will be the gift of life to me, if only all the Elf's in Santa's realm could and would join with me, and make this Christmas Wish a reality;

The morning is damp and cool as the old man drags himself out of a bed of discomfort, as the classical music plays he prepares his coffee for the day, shuffling off to the toilet his hair and beard in disarray, looking in the mirror he thinks I dont even care today, thanksgiving is today, and for is there to be thankful for, a life of disability and poverty, his cupboards are bare and he has no family, just another day to endure the despair and misery, for another year where his pleas for help have been unheard, holes fill his underwear, his pants coming apart at the seams, his body riddled with pain, no today is just another shitty day;

As tables are set and families gather, as turkeys roast and pies cool, as dressing and casseroles gingerbread and eggnog begin to flow, as the lights go up and presents are placed the trees are decorated and snow begins to fall, there are those of us that have no hope, no food to eat no family to be, no tree with gifts no table to sit, some like me have begged all year for the help to simply be, only to be left cold and hungry, so upon this #thanksgiving forgive me as I all have to say, Fuck You, Fuck You, and Fuck Your Fucking Holiday;

It is within the darkness of night where despair shines the brightest, for within ones nightmares ones reality becomes self evident, this void in which one is forced to exist within, saddled with ones overwhelming burdens, for escape to sunny days and meadows filled with flowers and butterflies, is but a fading glimpse of hope, days of pain and sleepless nights, hunger that is never filled, a thirst that grows, the misery that strips ones dignity as the world stands indifferent to the plight that prohibits a meaning full life, the pleas for help and the screams to hear me fall upon deaf ears, if only I had the tears but they ran out over the years, numb to this hellish reality depressing beyond absurdity;

I have single handily personally experienced the depravity the indignity the injustice the blatantly disregard for human life, the levels people will go to avoid expressing sympathy, empathy, respect, and compassion to their fellow man is staggering, for how any human can witness the suffering of any kind of another and idlily stand by is to say the least heartbreaking, how anyone can allow a fellow human experience the indignity of hunger, homelessness, poverty, illness, war, are just some of the most inhumane things we as a species will allow to befall upon our fellow man, woman and child, for we are not a moral, ethical nor just species, no we are by the very definition animals, and since we first walked upright and learned to communicate with one another, we have strived to walk on top of one another instead of walking together through this journey, for if humans ever find actual humanity the shame of where we came from will surely tarnish that growth for all of time;
