Has anyone ever tried to delete their PayPal Account?
I have attempted several times including the option to delete all my data, however if I check again after several months, the account is still active and I can log in as usual.

Zum Glück habe ich schon immer geweigert, ein Konto bei denen zu machen. Und (Online-) Händler, die nur PayPal als Zahlungsdienstleister anbieten, kriegen mich dann halt nicht als Kunden.

Eigentlich keine Neuigkeit - aber: #paypal ist eine Datenkrake! Warum keine Neuigkeit- Übersichten wie diese * gab es schon vor mehreren Jahren.
Es gibt Alternativen, die sich an die dsgvo halten müssen und Daten in weniger starken Ausmaß verarbeiten. So z.B. #wero - den Zahlungsdienstleister den auch @kuketzblog für Spenden **nutzt.

@mutualaid bump, My father has MS, which leads to the decaying of his sight. There is a med that remedies this, but it is incredibly expensive.
I'd really like to keep my father's sight, it'd kill me to see him blind. I'm trying to get $125 to afford his medication.
