That's why I choose differently 💪

It's not about Linux lacking a pretty GUI. It's not about not running popular apps. That's not the point - all of that can be figured out. The point is that I choose what runs on my system. Not someone who's never met me, but knows every move I make 
34 years later - this isn't a hobby. This is a fortress. A frontline. An echo of the question from years ago, which today sounds like a call:
Can we build something of our own?

34 years ago, August 25, 1991: Finnish university student Linus Torvalds announced he would post source code of an experimental OS kernel he wrote. It was posted to the university's FTP server in September where the sysadmin nicknamed it #Linux. Torvalds thought it was done. But code contributions started arriving and never stopped.
