@wordmark @mob Privately, we all have that choice --- but many university IT Services are built around #Microsoft tools and it's difficult to lobby for change. This dependency on Microsoft has even increased during COVID when Microsoft began offering all-in packages including TEAMS on top of the office suite. This was financially and administratively attractive. Universities would need better funding to perform a decent transition to #opensource tools while maintaining security and user support.
