3 runs per model via #LMStudio CLI, measuring tok/s + system load while browsing.
i7 / RTX 3050 Ti (4GB VRAM) / 16GB RAM:
Qwen2.5-Coder 3B → 65 tok/s, instant
Lucie 7B → 19 tok/s, sweet spot
Qwen3-VL 8B → 10 tok/s, decent
GPT-OSS 20B → 10 tok/s, 4s lag
LLMs load into GPU VRAM, system barely worse. 3-7B: smooth. 20B: painful.
