#Mastodon question. I understand, and appreciate, the absence of a comprehensive fediverse search, but was wondering if there's a way to search my personal stream? All too often I remember someone posting something but unless it's in the last week or so saved in my client it might as well have never happened.
Alternatively, if this isn't possible on an instance, is there's a simple way to archive the public posts in my stream to some bookmarking service? They're all just web pages after all.

I tried out the "Followed hashtags" feature on Mastodon, but it didn't stick.
The problem is that there's no "on/off" switch and if you just want to see the posts from the people you follow and not the followed hashtags, I don't think that's possible that way. They just all get mushed together in one singular feed.
I did read about making a list and adding everyone to that list, but that seems like a tedious task since there are so many people to add.
