I fell like this share button an OK start, but it is still kind of missing the point: It relies on joinmastodon.org so it is centralised, and it has enough clicks and setup compared to contemporary social media that for many more novice users it will seem convoluted and broken.
Mastodon users love to compare themselves to email, so where is mastodon's answer to mailto: ?
