O, dopiero teraz wypróbowałem funkcję Phanpy, która generuję "mapę" ilości naszych postów w każdym dniu danego roku. Strasznie mi to zamuliło przeglądarkę, ale jako ciekawostka może być. Wygląda na to, że nie potrafię żyć bez social mediów, a w szczególności bez Mastodona :D

I’m standing in a shower, scrubbing my hair with shampoo, completely starkers. It’s a normal occurrence, of course, to shower naked. Except this time, I’m surrounded by seven other women, all of whom are also naked and washing themselves.
I had been aware of Japanese onsens before booking my trip to Japan. I understood the concept; it’s a place you go to bathe and soak, like a spa. I also understood the rules; you had to do it naked. Due to the latter, I assumed that I would never experience an onsen; I simply could not get my baps out in a room full of strangers. But as it turns out, I can, and feel not only squeaky clean, but also transformed in the process.
What is an Onsen?
An onsen is a natural hot spring, geothermally-heated water that fills a natural or artificial pool in which you bathe. Many onsens across Japan use water from natural hot springs; however quality can vary depending on where you are. In places where sources are limited, some facilities may dilute, heat, filter, or use artificial jinko-onsen water to mimic natural springs.

With my intense travel schedule, I savor detours where I put away the schedule and notes and simply enjoy the moment. And for me, there’s no better detour in Europe than visiting a public bath or spa for a relaxing, good soak.
Some Americans are prudish when it comes to enjoying public baths in Europe — especially when the dress code is just a towel. I understand the hesitation; my first time was awkward too. I was with friends — a young, good-looking German couple. As they got naked in the changing area, I felt like the Road Runner just beyond the cliff’s edge. Then I eased up and got naked as well. It wasn’t sexy — simply open and free.
One of my favorite bath experiences is in the German town of Baden-Baden. It’s said that the Roman Emperor Caracalla may have soaked away his rheumatism here. Today the town has two very different baths. The Roman-Irish Bath (Friedrichsbad) is traditional, stately, indoors, contemplative, and relaxing — it’s just you, the past, and your body. The Caracalla Spa (Caracalla Therme), with both indoor and outdoor areas, is more perky, modern, and social.
I prefer the Friedrichsbad. It’s a steamy world of peaceful pools, exquisitely tiled sauna rooms, and complete nudity — where, for the cost of a good dinner, you get the works. Multilingual signs lead you from room to room...
