@elizayer I feel this trending #Mastodon post is a massive disservice to our youth. If you look at voting intentions in the UK it’s the over 50s voting for climate denial, racism, genocide, and oligarchy funded political parties.
Where has the globally informed, future wise electorate been for future generations, since forever?

#QuotePosting was an enormous #MoralPanic about four years ago because #Twitter had it and #Mastodon didn't and all the big techy-bro rags convinced #Gargron that he was discouraging new migrants from Twitter because Mastodon didn't have #QuotePosts
Took 'em about three years to do it, and everyone pretty much ignored quote posts when they were finally implemented, a lot because people could opt-out if they wanted and no one took them seriously
IMO, YMMV...

Das war der Beitrag der "Allianz gegen Rechtsextremismus in der Metropolregion Nürnberg" zur Kommunalwahl am 8. März 2026. Unser "Verein gegen das Vergessen e. V." ist dort Mitglied, zusammen mit über 500 weiteren Gruppen und Institutionen. Es lohnt sich, in so einem großen Verbund dabei zu sein!
