I'm sure there are all kinds of technical difficulties and arguments against this, but it'd be really interesting to see text fragment URLs (URLs that link to and highlight text selections in a web page) rendered as legible text, so the link itself can be the main part of a post AND link back to the source without spending more characters to insert the quote/selection in a legible form... #mastodon

I just had to suspend an account created 15 minutes ago on my #Mastodon instance. It's name started with "seo_automation". Doesn't exactly sound like an account for a #TTRPG instance, now does it?
I wish commercial entities would stop trying to abuse systems (such as my tiny instance) run by and paid for by volunteers.
Quite frankly, f--- off with your commercial BS. Leave the #Fediverse to the actual users.

Some tabs are crashing in Firefox Nightly on #Mastodon 4.5.8, especially when I consult my profile page.
I don't have this problem with Firefox Release, either on Windows or KDE Neon. So I'll wait until they fix the issue for the Nightly (alpha, remember) version and then switch back to the stable version for a few days.
I have activated the bug report on Nightly, and the URL is attached.

T: Oh, cool, was ist dein Account?
X: Ich hab keinen, lese nur RSS / Web.
Das ist interessant, weil es einen für die üblichen Reichweitenmessungen komplett unsichtbaren Kanal zeigt.
Keine Login-Wall, kein Tracking, Anonym lesbar. Offene Schnittstellen gewinnen.
