mastodon Timeline - FediScanner

I love the lack of algorithm here (like deeply and truly). It feels amazing to not be part of a massive Conflict And Clout Engine. But I do miss great posts sometimes, from accounts I follow and enjoy, just because I'm not looking at that precise moment. Are there any Mastodon tools that show you certain posts you missed? The criteria could be 1) accounts you follow 2) whose posts you've liked or boosted before 3) whose current post has at least 3 likes or boosts. Something like that?

1/ #Mastodon: There are many nice small usability improvements for profiles in the upcoming version 4.6!

• My favorite improvement: The UI for handles has become simpler: It’s just text + help button now. This is unavoidable complexity, so you can’t really simplify.
• Always showing the full handle is great, too. Less confusing IMO.

I follow Mastodon on Github and I've been waiting for this to happen

I've been on Mastodon basically seven days a week since Nov 2 2022 and currently have one Main and two Alt accounts

My Profile page is highly evolved to look --> exactly <-- as I want it to, featuring --> exactly <-- what I want people to see of me on all three instances

(The Pinned Post carousel notwithstanding...)

But now that's all going away, to be replaced by the opinions of 500 people from 300 instances, was it?

Funny

I never saw any opinions being asked of anyone, anywhere

Guess my range of view on Mastodon is too constricted

I did see questions and dissent on Github being silenced as "violations of the TOS" however

Interesting how that works

Oh well

Gotta onboard those weekender / short-timers, right?

I've been preferring the "show all at once with the least clicks" approach on my UI. I really don't know what was wrong with the old sidebar hashtag approach.

Quick question though, for anyone out there who may be listening, is there a reason why "Popular & Trending" is different, depending on the server one may be looking into?
