I've been trying out a couple of different Mastodon apps for my phone and settled on Tusky which seems to have the best features without feeling too bloated. I've also got myself a Pixelfed account for uploading my old photos, and it's a lot more stable now than it was a year or two ago. And of course, setting up both accounts to follow each other is easy thanks to the magic of the Fediverse.

The sad thing about #Mastodon is that its basic ideas and architecture are quite well thought. But the lack of sense among its developers about how bad the #UI and the #UX of the product is, makes the whole system fail for no other reason but their arrogance and vanity.
If you do not design your product from a user‘s perspective, then you fail.
